Horses/nuzzling and head scratching

Question
hello Lyn. does "nuzzling" and "head scratching on my arm" a good sign of showing affection on us or they both are bad habits in horses?

Answer
Rohit,

I let my horses nuzzle but won't let them use me as a scratching post when they have either a halter or bridle on.  And I also let them know when they get too rough; it hurts!  As long as you make clear the limits I have no problems with it.
