Question QUESTION: Hello,
I know that keeping a horse alone isn't the best answer, but its all I can do right now, and when I try to lunge her she gets very aggressive and runs toward me bucking with her ears pinned. Other than being lunged, she is a perfect at feeding times and riding, just this seems to be a problem. Also, could any herbs or remedies help to build a strong back? Because my TB, the lunging one, has a very long back.
Thanks!
Jamielyn
ANSWER: Hi Jamielyn:
I would recommend purchasing Herbalife products, the Formula one shake which is protein, it helps to build strong muscles, it will help with her back.
I am wondering if she has had a bad experience, with lounging? Or the lounge line or whip? Because this will cause fear, and is hard to get rid of. I would recommend a Bach flower remedies call Rock Rose, which is really good for fear, and panic, and Cherry plum, which is good for horses that loose control and become wild and crazy.

QUESTION: So the Herbalife is the Formula One Shake? Or is that like a human product? I think she might of, because she was an exracehorse..maybe. Would a plastic bag at the end of the whip instill fear in her or more aggressiveness? Shes very good at the walk when lunging, but when I crack the whip to ask for more, she dislikes it and runs at me with her ears pinned back.
Thanks!
Jamielyn
Answer Hi Jamielyn:
Yes it is for humans, but I use it for all my horses, I found either chocolate or wild berry works best.
I wouldn't recommend using a whip at all, try using voice commands. If you do need to use a whip try and put it behind your back so she can't see it or instead of cracking it on the ground, just try and wave it around or near her.
