Question
I'd like to try making some corn cob pipes. However, most supermarket corn cobs don't have enough pith. The Missouri Meerschaum company, America's premier corn cob pipe maker, grow its own corn to make its pipes. Where can I find this corn? If I can't find the corn doesn't anybody know the name of this corn cultivar and where I can find seeds to grow them?

Answer
Interesting question. I will need to do some research on this and get back to you.
Tell me what you have tried so I don't duplicate your work.
My direct e-mail is dale@softley.com, be sure to say something about corn cobs in subject so I catch it.
