Question
I bought my lst mandevilla last year-brought it inside to winter over.  It dropped leaves & eventually the rest of the plant.  I watered it on & off all winter.  Have taken it outside & it looks like I can see roots.  Just put some dirt over what I think is roots.  What are the chances this plant will come back this summer.  I have truly fallen in love with this beautiful red flowers & amazing vine.  So, should I just go buy another?  Have been checking our local garden center & not seeing any yet.

Answer
Sorry for the delay in answering the question.  I have my doubts it will leaf out. Will you please send a photo of it planted.  Other words, what does it look like now. Get as close as possible and still get the entire plant.

If you bend a branch does it bend or break?

Thanks for asking.
