Question
Hi,Sir.I want to know what is difference between chelated calcium CaEDTA and calcium chloride.I have sprayed calcium chloride, somebody told me that it will check the size of apples.

Answer
It would take several pages to fully answer your question.CaCl will do a good job if using food grade product.  Using lesser grades may injure you apples. the site below addresses what I think is your real question.
http://www.tfrec.wsu.edu/horticulture/nutspray.html

If the plant is short on Ca, additional will make a difference in yield, if the soil is adequate, there will not be a yield increase.

What type of soil are your trees on?

The food grade calcium chloride should not hurt apple size,

If I have not answered your question please call me at 800-324-7487 and I will try to get the best answer I can. I will be on the road these next few days, but the office phone should come to my cell.
