Question
We have leaf cutter ants walking away with my flowers.  I have never dealt with them before.  I read lemon grass is a deterent.  True or not.  If so, how tall does it grow (will it look ok with what I have planted).

Answer
Brooks,

It sounds like you are talking about flowers planted outdoors in the ground.  Lemon grass will get 1 to 2 feet tall. I suggest you use an insecticide such as diazinon and kill the ants. Talk to your local garden center about the problem. They would be best to help you solve this problem. Good luck.

Darlene
