House Plants/jade

Question
I've had a jade plant for 5 years and it has done well even though it was in a plastic pot with regular soil.  I watered it in spring and summer once every couple weeks until moist and once every 6 weeks in winter.  I repotted it using a clay pot and  soil meant for succulents. Since it's a change and it will likely dry out faster now than it did before, should I increase the frequency or amount of water I give it?  Thanks

Answer
Lee,

How much larger is the diameter of the new pot than the old pot? If it is 2 inches or less larger then yes it will need more frequent watering but if the pot is 2-4 inches larger diameter than the old pot it will need watered about the same as before and if it is more than 4 inches larger than the old pot it will need watered even less often. If you have more questions feel free to write again. Good luck.
