Question Help i need to know how i can root a ming tree from a friends branch
Answer Dear Mary,
Could you please give me the botanical name of your plant as I have found in the past that people have used the name Ming Tree for several different types of plants.
If the botanical name is Polyscias fruticosa, Ming Aralia, then it propagation is by stem cuttings in the Spring. The lower leaves should be removed, the cutting dipped in rooting powder and then planted preferably in a heated propagation tray. You will know when it has rooted as new foliage will appear.
