Question I have a little tree I guess its called a Ficuss, I have it in a nice size pot and take good care of it the only way I know how (water& sun shine) I recently got some plant food and want to feed it for the first time next week. I dont know if my little tree is too hot or something but it always looks withered on the leafs. I have outside for the summer and it is in direct sunlight for at least three hours a day.. Is that my problem? Please Help.... I'll do anything to have it be a happy little tree..
Answer Jessica,
How often do you water it? What is the diameter of the pot it is in? How tall is the tree? I suspect that you are watering it too much or too often and the roots are rotting. Cut back on the water and it will take some time for it to grow new roots but it will heal. If you want further advice I will need the answers to the questions above.
Good luck.
