House Plants/Identification of House Plants

Question
Hi Darlene,

I'm looking for a website with photos of plants. I have some that I have no name for, therefore just hope that I'm caring for them properly. Also, I like looking for plants online or in magazines, rather than walking around a nursery. That always seems to cost me way too much $, since I THINK I need everything regarding plants!

Thanks, in advance,
pat

Answer
Pat,

I'm just as bad online about wanting everything I see! Plants can be addictive!

These first 2 sites are reliable suppliers with lots of pictures on their sites.

http://www.glasshouseworks.com/pageone.html

http://www.logees.com/

The following sites have lots of pictures for plant ID:

http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/depts/hort/consumer/hortinternet/houseplants.html

http://www.plantmann.com/pages/plants.html

http://www.hort.purdue.edu/ext/senior/flowers/flowers.htm

http://www.exoticangel.com/Varieties/VarietiesCare.htm

http://www.plantcare.com/catalog/tepListPlantSelect.php?PlantFamily=AllIndoor&Pl...

http://botany.com/

Good instructional site:
http://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/plantanswers/publications/houseplant/housepla...

After looking at those sites if you have something that you still cannot identify email me a picture of it to Plantlady6@aol.com and I will do my best to identify it. Good luck.
