It actually is listed on that site as toxic to cats and dogs.  it is listed under its more commonly used name "flamingo flower" as opposed to the scientific name.

Hi Jan. If you do a google search you will see that this plant is very poisonous to plants and you should remove it straight away.  I have a cat who is very ill at the moment because she's a bit of my plant.
