Hi, I just bought a China doll plant from Lowes cause it said low light and i live in an old ranch house and it's dark inside  it looked real healthy new growth and then I get it home and them two days later the new growth tips look burnt and a couple of the bigger leave at the bottom look burnt am I not watering it enough or is it not getting enough sun and I only have AC cooler it might make it to dry in here it's cool in here its not hot

You received poor advice at Lowe's. China Dolls require lots of very bright, but mostly indirect light all day long. Right in front of a north or east window that is uncovered throughout the day is what your plant needs. Keep it tightly potted and allow the top inch of soil to dry before watering it.
