Darlene's response was perfect.  I had purchased a zygo cactus/mylar and was wondering if I should repot this beautiful plant when I got home.  Glad I didn't but I did place the plant into another pot and decorated the outside with Christmas foil and a red bow.  Wow!  It is gorgeous and ready for our holiday celebration.

Darlene, I'm sorry to say this, but you couldn't be more wrong in your answer to Kathy.  Although the Mylar may reflect to the cellophane outer wrapper, what she has is The Spring Cactus, not the Christmas cactus:

There is a difference between the two species. The Easter cactus has leaves that are wide and round and trimmed with a reddish tint. The Christmas cactus' leaves are pointed.  I know this because I own both species.
