Question
yes i have  2 fmla's sometimes i need time off work due to my illnesses and dr apt. my employer also wants me to get doctors notes when i take off isnt my fmla enough? i feel this is harrassment is this legal?
i bring notes from my doctor but they say it has to state  the reason and has to match my fmla what more do they want .. they have the fmla?
can they do this each time i need  a day off due to my condition.
thankyou

Answer
Barbara:

There is nothing illegal about their requesting a Dr.'s note  That said, I would have my Doctor write a letter saying he is actively treating me for XXX medical condition and bring the same note each time, with the most recent date of visit stamped on it.
