Question
Hello sir... I am Harsh... want to do MBA in HR but we dont have great faculties to teach in our institute... so can i tke the risk to do specialization on my own hardwork in HR field.... I have done competency mapping in Hathi Cement... I think I m an hr guy....

Answer
Dear Harsh
I understand your frustration with the fact that there are no great faculties at the institute. So, while you can do a lot of self learning to understand the facets of HR, you also need to contend with the corporate world.

For them, a degree from a known institute is important to give an opportunity to an individual. To that extent it can get difficult to get an opportunity in the corporate world if you do not do a formal degree.

If you are willing to live with those difficulties, then it is ok.  Else either live through the pain of this institute or search some other institute where you can do your degree.

All the best.

Hope this helps you in your decision making. Do revert if you need further clarifications or other queries. I will be happy to respond.
