Question
QUESTION: sir;i m a graduate student(fresher)b.sc (agri) want to tk admission in PGDHRM n i m residing in manglore n i want to do this course through distance learning.so kindly provide me the guidance.

ANSWER: Hi Nibha
Is there a reason why you want to do the course through distance learning. The reason for asking this is that if you want to get into an HR career then doing it full time is a much better option. Distance learning course will not be valued as much as a full time course in the market.

Also, are there any other limitations that you have with regards to where you could do your course from.

Do revert & I will be happy to respond.

QUESTION: because i am a housewife and i can not leave my family and hence i want to do the course through distance learning.is it better to do Msc or MBA through distance learning.

Answer
Hi Nibha
You then need to help me understand the purpose of doing a course. If it is to enhance your knowledge then you can take up any course that interests you. If it is to build a career, then you still need to think about the kind of jobs/ roles that will interest you and you would like to do and then see what are the relevant courses to be able to do that job/ role.

That may perhaps be a better way to decide what course you want to do & how. Also, it depends on where you stay. Just because you are with family does not mean that you cannot do a full time course unless there are restrictions in terms of timing. If that is the case ad if you are keen on a job then you will need to take that into account too while determining the kind of job you want to do & hence the kind of course you need to do.

Do revert with your thoughts & I will be happy to respond. All the best.
