Question
QUESTION: i need guidance for pursuing further knowledge in hr,it could
be another course apart from mba hr. kindly help.

ANSWER: Employment Law. You never know how much you will need this until you have a career in Human Resources. You need to know that the laws are for Payroll, Pension, who the governing authorities are and all the legislation pertaining to this this subject.

Yes you touch on FLSA, FMLA, ERISA and others in your Human Resource class, but you need more in depth studies in the Employment Law sector. This is what I would recommend.

QUESTION: could you provide with alternative courses available apart
from employment law. it would be great if you could tell where
in india it should be pursued.

Answer
I did revise the original question you should be seeing the revision.

I suggested Accounting, Communications, Writing and another one would be public speaking.

All of these courses would be beneficial to a Human Resource manager.

Accounting because Human resource works with compensation, payroll, taxes, budgeting and uses financial information daily.

Communications because Human Resources must communicate with the employees, management, and with outside vendors such as IRS, Department of Labor , pension and insurance companies.

Writing because Human Resources must write handbooks, policies, letters to employees, managment, government agencies, vendors and other business letters. HR is also responsible for company events and must make fliers for the employees. Much writing is done in Human Resources.

Public Speaking would be a good course because the HR manager is always speaking to a group of employees in training sessions, benefit enrollment meetings, presentations to management and staff meetings also at company events such as a summer picnic or a christmas party.

There are many good classes that could benefit someone in the Human Resource field.
