Question
I am pursuing B.com(business studies)and in 3rd year through Distance Education.I am working in a Bpo industries for the last two years.I want to know job prospects in India and Abroad, if i do MBA in HR or International Buisness. OR Please suggest me what should i do after completing my graduation for a bright future?

Thank you

Answer
Dear Rupam
Future can be bright in either of the 2 streams depending on where you find energy. Reason is if you get into a field that you enjoy, you are likely to do better than in a field where you do not enjoy. Each one brings different talents and strengths.

Field of HR is very different from International Business. HR is a field that is relevant across industries while International Business may not be relevant in all organizations & industries.

So, please reflect on the kind of person you are, find out more about each of the fields and then think about which one you feel intuitively you are going to enjoy. Accordingly take a decision.

Whatever you choose, see if you can do a full time MBA from a reputed institute. That will serve as a good starting point.

Hope this triggers your thinking as a starting point. All the best. Do revert if you have further queries. I will be happy to respond.
