Human Resources/Relationship between HRD & Account Section


Q: Is HR Department totally responsible for all tasks of account Division (meaning does the general task of  an accounts  section solely belong to the standard job description of HR) ? or account section is totally responsible for all of its own tasks and not a part of HRD rather than only having some links to HRD for receiving related information?

Accounts Department deals with receipts, payments, income and expenses etc.  They have track all the payments received and made to vendors.

HR department is quite different as they are focused more on employing people and manage the Human Resources function.

There are lots of areas where HR has to coordinate with Accounts for preparing the Salary / payroll processing.  All the expenses made to and on behalf employees are maintained by the accounts department only
