Hunting - Pistol Hunting

Expert: Dave Nyce - 2/25/2008

Question
I am thinking about Pistol hunting squirrel, fox, groundhog and rabbit what would be a good pistol for hunting them and how much would it cost?

Answer
Assuming it is legal to hunt those animals in your area with a .22LR handgun, I would recommend an autoloader with 5 1/2" or longer barrel, like the Ruger Mark II or Mark III (from about $270), or Browning Buck Mark (from about $290).

Hope this helps!

Dave
