Question i have a 240 weatherby and i'm havinga hard time choosing between 90 grain banes x or 95 grain nosler ballistic tip.
Answer Jimmy--
I've been using the Ballistic Tip 150 gr. in my .30-06 for something like 15 years now. It has killed every antelope and deer with one bullet at yards up to ~500. I've killed several antelope at 400-450 yards with it too. Both bullets are good. Really, what you need to do is buy some of both and see which shoots best in your particular gun. Mine shoots the Ballistic Tips into basically one hole at 100 yards, so I've never felt the need to change. Really, this kind of accuracy is NOT needed for hunting though. A bigger factor is what critter you use it on and how the bullet performs. The Ballistic Tip leaves a hole you can stick your hand in. I've heard good things about the X also. Try them both and let your rifle decide.
