Question
QUESTION: I have a neutered male husky that is about 1 1/2yrs old.  We got him when he was 6 1/2 weeks old.  He constantly uses the bathroom in his crate.  I have removed everything from his crate and he just doesn't seem to care.  He will also use the restroom in the house, even right after he has gone outside.  I don't know what to do at this point.  I have left him in the crate before as sometimes it happens while I am at work and he is left to sit in it.  Please help!

ANSWER: Have you brought him in to check him for a Urinary Tract Infection?
Let me know and I will answer you question further.

QUESTION: Yes, as a matter of fact I just had him at the vet for his annual visit 2 weeks ago and nothing is wrong.  This has been an issue since we got him.  He slept in his crate at night and is was kept in it while we were gone.  He would just stand up, do his business, and lay back down right in it and go back to sleep.

Answer
The best thing to do with this boy is try and keep him clean and dry. It sounds like he dosen't care about sleeping in his stuff this usually happens (but not all the time) if the puppies wern't raised in a clean enviroment. He dosen't know that is feels better to stay clean. So this means get him an e-pen or a HUGE crate with alot of space. This is so you can put a place to go potty in it where he won't lay in it. It also mean lots of baths. Give him a few months of being clean and dry. Then try a smaller crate again. (Sorry I have been on Vacation this is my first chance at a computer in a while)
Any more Q's please ask!
