Female littermates are a bad choice. Male dogs are prone to fighting frequently but the fights are usually not dangerous if one dog is submissive.  Females dogs will not fight a lot but when they do there's a high possibility that they will fight to the death.

I don't know about 2 females. I would serious reconsider that. As I type this, I have 2 stitches in my hand from my brothers' older female, who was fighting with his one year-old female. I tried pulling them apart and the older one went for me. I suppose if you got them as puppies together. But even my brother is re-thinking bringing the puppy into the house with an older female there. the older female was raised alongside an older male, who died last year (15).
