Question I have recently started taking Lisinopril 20/HCL25 during the daytime and Lisinopril 20 at bedtime. I have been waking up during the night with severe leg cramps and then have headache during the day along with a cough. Could the dosage be too high causing these symptoms or what else may I take to counteract the cramps and headache?
Thanks.
Kay
Answer The cough can occur with lisinopril in a dose-independent manner. The other symptoms are either a direct side-effect from the lisinopril or because your blood pressure is too low. You need to speak with your physician and see if he can make adjustments to the regimen.
