Question Hi, I have been checked by different doctors and around 5-6 years back I was referred to take Amlopres - L (2 tabs a day). Surprisingly I get hypertension only during the winters and is around 140-160 -- 90-110.
I then stopped taking the meds after winters. Someone told me that we have to take these meds for life. Could you please suggest me what to do now as I have not taken these regularly and also would like to know what exactly do these meds do in the body.
Answer Hi Nitin B,
I am not familiar with the drug Amlopres-L (you must be living out of the US). If diagnosed with hypertension, you should be on meds until direccted otherwise by your doctor. As for what Amlopres-L does to the body, I would and will tell you if I know what kind of drug it is.
