Question
hello, i am 19 and just recently decided to undergo hypnosis for anxiety.  i went to a hypnotherapist and all and have only been there one time so far.  however sometimes it seems like my anxiety symptoms increase. Does this just mean the negative emotions are being released?  is this why i feel them more?  also, i have trouble relaxing cause my mind is always racing, so how do i clear my thoughts when i am there? thanks

Answer
In my experience, simple anxiety can be taken care of in one, maybe two sessions. If however your anxiety is more complex, regression hypnosis by a qualified consulting hypnotist may be in order. It is the hypnotists job to help you clear your thoughts and relax. Apparently, you are not allowing yourself to go into hypnosis or your hypnotist and you are not making a connection for good rapport. (neither one's fault). Sometimes two people just don't jell, if things are getting worse rather than better, seek another professional. If you give me your location I can try and find a qualified consulting hypnotist in your area.
