Hi,

I've only just come across this forum page as this happened to me yesterday! I checked the battery in the fob, it seemed fine, the light was also blinking but the car wasn't responding.

In all honesty, I'm not sure what I did but after a while of constantly trying the light on the fob stayed constantly on. When I tried after this, the car lights flashed 3 times rather than 2. Then it started working!

My guess is that I kept hold of one or both of the buttons until the light stayed on.

Thanks

point fob at car and keep both buttons pressed down until green light comes on approx 15 seconds and then press large button twice and this will reset the fob, happens to me all the time

You are brilliant, just followed your advice regarding resetting key fob after new batteries and hey presto it worked.

Thank you.
