Question Hi, I have a 2003 Hyundai sonata which is overheating. I check the fans and they are spinning. I checked the the fluid it was a little low but I taped it up but no help. I Squeeze the hoses and they seem as if there is no fluid in it. What do you think could be wrong.
Answer Hi Carlton,
Maybe clogged catalytic converter. Maybe clogged radiator, maybe bad water pump, maybe bad thermostat. maybe bad sensor somewhere. Maybe bad oil. For around $90.00 a hyudai dealer says he can tell you and some dealers even apply the $90.00 toward the cost of the repair if you ask them to. They do in Tulsa Oklahoma and i think the one in Pine Brook, NJ does. Have not researched any other ones in US but if you find any maybe we should start a "customer friendly list".
Joe
PS: if you drive it around in overheated mode, you can cause some serious $$$ damage.
