Question I have had my fuel pump replaced and now my fuel gauge sits on 1/4 of a tank even though I have a full tank the mechanic that replaced it said to "just bend the float lever up till it reads full that should work" is there a way to adjust it either on the pump side or in the dash
Thanks
Sonny
Answer sorry, i signed up as an auto paint expert...i do not know why i get mechanic questions. However, in my auto paint professional opinion, it sounds like your present mechanic is in over his head or just plain trying to get out of doing it right with the old Jedi Mind Trick on you. Take it to a hyundai dealer and hire a lawyer to present mr. "just bend the float lever" with lawyer and hyundai bills in small claims court. Wow, if i tried to do that goofy talk with a disgruntled auto paint job customer, they would tar and feather me nine different ways from saturday. Needless to say, i'm not a Jedi either... i don't know how those guys hypnotize people like that with just plain bullshit.
