Question Hi. I hav bought Hyundai Accent GLE 2006 model. Is it required to change the Lub. oil every 6months without considering the kms done by the car.? Is it required to flush out the whole Lub. oil system every time when we change the oil, even if we are using the same brand oil.? kindly advice.
Answer not sure, Praveen. i signed up on this website as an auto paint expert and not sure why i keep getting mechanic questions. I would not think it necessary to flush lube system each oil change unless there is some serious other issue like water in oil or something intense like that. If you do have water in oil you are in serious $$$ trouble and flushing system would be like only putting a band aid on a large caliber gunshot wound.
