I recently downloaded the new 6.5 version of ICQ and have not been able to receive transferred files.  The old 5 version worked fine.  I have Windows XP on my pc.  Any help you can provide is appreciated.  Thank you.

The question is, which ICQ version does/do the person(s) have who try to send you a file over ICQ?

Be sure to have the latest ICQ 6.5 version (http://www.icq.com/download) on both sides!

If it still doesn't work this means most likely some firewall or router denies the transfer to work. Since there are tons of different programs or router models, it's impossible to send you step-by-step instructions, so please refer to their help/support.
