Subject: Broadband feedback on house phones

Question
I have recently installed broadband, and am getting high pitched feedback on my house phones.  I have fitted ADSL micro filters to all sockets, and all phones.  Two phones are O.K. but two phones are still screaming, why?

Answer
I have never seen this before. Normally the filters work just fine.

I am guessing that those particular phone types are resonating on that frequency. They are just very sensitive to it.

Are they wireless (cordless) devices?

I have seen interference with a wireless home router and cordless phones. If you also added a wireless home router along with your DSL connection, it may be that this is causing the interference with your cordless phones.

Let me know what kind of phones they are.
