IT and Business Architecture/IT Audit

I recently started a new job as an IT administrator and there is going to be an audit in our company soon.

What do I have to do as the Administrator? Do I need to hand over a document with our devices? Do I need to show every single device to them?
What should I expect and how should I prepare?

Thank you.

Typically the IT audit can have very broad coverage or very narrow depending on the situation and scope.  I would suggest that you have an application landscape and a physical environment deployment diagram available. I would also list all the ITIL related standards that you are in compliance with; particularly with regards to external connectivity.  Other than that, probably best just sit in anticipation of some specific questions. If you are comfortable with your environment then straight forward, honest answers will see through the audit.

Other than that no much to prepare for... it is a check not an examination.
