Question
Hello!
I'm a student from Croatia; studying comparative litterature and french language on the University of Zagreb. Don't have any exact connection with Iceland except the one that I love that country. I wonder if there is some possibility to continue studying the same in Iceland.
Thank you in advance:D

Answer
Hello Antonia,

there are two main universities - the University of Iceland and the University of Reykjavík. Altogether there are eight institutes of higher education.

I suggest that you have a look at the websites of the two universities:
http://www2.hi.is/page/hi_is_english_frontpage

http://www.ru.is/?PageID=723

The main language of instruction is Icelandic. Textbooks are mainly in English and Icelandic.

Good luck.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Laurence
