Question
We are going to Iceland the end of September. What kind of clothes for day and night? We hope to do the Pub crawl on the weekend so how do we dress?  Should we bring jeans? Thermals - running suits?

Answer
Hello Gale,

In September, the maximum temperature will be 10°C and the minimum temperature will be 5°C.

From your message I don't know whether you're coming to explore Iceland, or just staying in Reykjavík to enjoy the nightlife.

Either way, bring clothes for all weathers. Be prepared for cold, rain and wind, but under your anorak you can wear whatever you'd wear to a pub or club in England.

If you go hiking, don't wear jeans, because they're horrible to wear if they get wet.

Laurence
