I found this patch of Trillium (I think) in a shady, off trail spot above Pacific,CA. I looked through the ~300 pictures of Trillium on Berkeley's "CalPhotos-plants" site, but nothing appeared to have these odd-shaped leaves. Do you know what type of trillium it is?
Answer Lee, There are many forms and shapes of Trillium. Much of this has to do with environment and growing conditions. Here is a link that will explain it better. http://plantwatch.sunsite.ualberta.ca/plants/wes_tri.php Hope this helps good luck John
