|Comment||Sorry for the low rating but i feel it is fair. After waiting 4 days for a response that yielded no help, i did a simple google search for "flower identification." The very first search result lead me to a page that allowed me to select the flower features (which i selected based only on the picture you've seen since that's all i have). Not more than five minutes later that website gave me the answer i had been waiting for... The flower is the Hoary Puccoon! Since i know nothing about flowers and found my answer in 5 minutes, i gave you the lowest knowledgeability rating. Since your guess that it was in the poppy family sent me on a wild goose chase, and since you didn't really answer my second question (i know it's based on the first question being answered), and because it appears half of your response is a cut and paste (i have read several of your past responses), and, most importantly, because you are now unavailable for a follow-up question you get a low clarity rating. The overall tone of the response does deserve a more moderate politeness rating which i have given. Thank you for your time.|
i can answer most questions pertaining to general plant identification. if you e-mail digital pictures to me i can sight ID most plants sold at garden centers. i owned & operated a garden center/landscape company for 20+ years in NJ, selling all kinds of plants (deciduous, evergreen, annual, perennial, tropical, etc.).
