Question I am going to Chicago this weekend. I live in Indianapolis. I would like to drive to a safe Chicago suburb, park my car for the weekend, and take the metra into down town where we are staying. What Suburb on the Indianapolis side of Chicago should I drive to and park my car?
Answer Nathan,
I am not very familiar with Chicago's South Surburbs, but I would recommend the affluent town of Homewood for parking. In addition to being south and safe, it also has a landmark train station from which you can easily catch the METRA train into downtown Chicago.
