Question I have a two flat with a garden apartment in the heart of Lincoln Square, walking distance to transportation, the mall, restaurants and entertainments, and will like to rent the garden apartment for the summer only, to people who comes to Chicago on business or visiting and want to stay in a good neighborhood and don't want to pay the high prices of hotels, please tell me how I go about that, and if there is a website where I can advertise this apartment, thank you. Answer Emmy,
I don't know if there is a Web site specifically for apartment renters in your situation, but I would call the following places that may be able to help you.
Chicago Tourism Office
Chicago Chamber of Commerce
Bed & Breakfast Chicago (they offer such apts. for rent to visitors)
Heritage Bed & Breakfast Registry
You might also try just listing the apartment (with its summer restriction) in the Reader. Many find that the best place to find apartments/renters under all conditions.
Good luck!
