Question
I, as US citizen, am applying for my wife.  She is from Sri Lanka but is currently on student visa in the UK. Her UK visa will expire on Oct, 2008.

My question is, in I-130's address section, should I put her UK address or Sri Lanka address?  What is USCIS's policy on which cousulate will be used to have her interview - at country of current residence or at country of citizenship?

Many thanks!

Answer
Put her current address. The embassy in Sri Lanka has to accpet her since she is a citizen there. You can list London as the Embassy you would like to her to be intervieed at but it is discretionary and alot of times they say they are too busy with their own citizens.

Robert
