Question
hi well him in love with a guy  and he lives in Guatemala and we are thinking of getting married but my question is can i get married with him over in Guatemala?and how can i bring him over to the U.S.A. with me?
thank you

Answer
Hi Marcy,

You can get married in any country and then sponsor for the K-3 visa. However, it is faster to bring your fiance into the U.S. first on the K-1 visa, and then marry in the U.S. Information on the K-1 category is here: http://www.uscis.gov/files/article/A2.pdf
