Question
Dear sir
i have a B1B2 valid until 2010.If my mother, who is a US citizen, files a petition for me ,will my visitor visa be cancelled?
Thanks

Answer
Jassi,
The visa will not be cancelled, however at the port of entry into the US the officer MAY not allow you into the US. If he or she believes (due to the immigrant petition filed on your behalf) that you intend to stay back in the US.
