Question
Dear Sir

I am changing my status from H-1 to F-1 but my credit history is really bad. So please help me is that affect my status or not.

Kumar

Answer
Kumar,
As long as you can show financial ability to pay the tuition fees, with bank statements then change of status from H-F should be fine. USCIS does not check on credit history of an applicant.

Sincerely,
