Question
I will be applying for PERM soon. Per DOL reguations, how many hours a week constitues a full time employment?
Thank you.

Deepa

Answer
Deepa,
40 hours per week is normally considered full time.  DOL has approved cases listing 35-40 hrs/week also. But this depends on the nature of your job, the industry and your company's practice.  You need to contact your attorney/employer for further clarification on this matter.
