Immigration Issues/foodstamps

I plan to petition I-130 for my parents. I was wondering if it will harm the petition if I were to receive
1 food stamps as a US Citizen?
2 State sponsored health insurance?
3 Energy (bill reduction)assistance directly by energy provider?
4 telephone (bill reduction) assistance directly by telephone company.

Thank you.

Hello Andrei:

The petitioner of an I-130 (petition for alien relative) must meet the income requirements according to their household size (125% of the federal poverty guidelines).

Therefore, your application should be approved as long as you can meet the income requirements. However, as matter of caution you may want to stop receiving food stamps.
