Question
hi i have a question,  i was looking at the uscis.gov webster and i was surprised to see that processing time for the kids over the age of 21 for a permananat resident is now 5 months now, is that true?.  and is the processing time for  sibgling of the us citizen is 2006 now, did they expedited all the process times.

Answer
Hi,

Children 21 or over of permanent residents is F2B category. And siblings of U.S. citizen is F4 category: www.h1b1.com/sponsor.htm

Information about priority dates is here: www.h1b1.com/visawaiting.htm

For the month of October, 2010, the visa availability date for F2B category is April 01, 2005, and for F4 category it is Dec. 01, 2001. If the country of chargeability is Mexico or Philippines, there is an even longer waiting time.
