Immigration Issues/UCI Number

Question
Hi,

I'm sponsoring my wife to Canada and I realized that I don't know what my UCI is, furthermore, I don't have my original Record of Landing, where this number should be. Is there a way to find out my UCI without having to order a certified copy, which may takeup to 6 months?

Sincerely,

Oleg Lurye

Answer
Hi Oleg,

It's not mandatory for you to have it.  Leave it blank or enter 00000000.  CIC will find it based on your PR card and/or Canadian Passport.

Sincerely,
