Immigration Issues/F1 student visa interview mistake
Expert: AJAY SINGH - 6/13/2012
Question I had an interview for a F1 student visa in a US embassy. I did not get rejected but I need to get clearance which is supposed to take 4 to 8 weeks. the problem is that I just realized that the answer I provided to one question was not correct. what should I do? will that false answer cause me not to get clearance?
the question was about how many schools did I apply and get accepted in? I applied to 3 and got accepted in 2. but I mistakenly said that I got accepted in all 3. I noticed my mistake 3 days after the interview!
