Question Hi, I am currently on H4 and planning to join MS studies in August on F1 visa. I will soon apply for COS from H4 to F1. I am planning to go to Canada for F1 visa stamping. The reason I would like to get the stamping done is : Due to personal reasons, I will have to plan a short trip to India in Nov 2012. I dont want to take a chance to get stuck when I go for stamping in India. Can you please let me know if my plan has any risks?
Answer Dear Pooja:
You may inquire with your information to the concerned port/consulate regarding stamping. Port's may differ in application of regulations/rules.
