Immigration Issues/CPT Overtime

Question
Hi, I have worked overtime during my CPT. Now I believe in the W2 form my company would inform that I did overtime hours. Would I be facing any issues while filing for tax? And I would also like to know if would be receiving any money back as I am an F1 student from the tax department?

Thanks
Dinesh

Answer
I would say you shouldn't have any problems unless USCIS requests your pay-stubs/Pay-checks. Regarding, money back - I believe no tax would have been withheld as you are on F1 status.  However, I would recommend you consult a Tax expert on the issue.

Best wishes,
